Why do some dreamers get to live out their dreams, while other dreamers have to observe their dream?

Howdy, all you friends and supporters! ;D Here's our update with the zine. :D

Anyways, So Community has a lot of events coming up this upcoming month, and we are going to try to get some sponsors for our magazine. In order to do that, we need to show them that our magazine has potential. While away I've been given the task of creating a mock up magazine. I don't want my work to be the only work in the magazine (haha, it'd be a pretty lame magazine if that where so), I need you to send me your work. Not all of it will be put in this Mock-up Magazine, due to limited space and printing, but send it anyways.

The theme of the Mock-Up Magazine is Hope and Despair....so if you have any work that fits any of those themes send them to me. Work is Due 7 pm Western Standard Time October 19th. :)

We need dancers, painters, musicians, actors, photographers, writers, to submit their work. (See Submission Details below)

thanks for your time and efforts. You guys are so amazing and beautiful.

Submission Details

After editing, and choosing submissions to print, your submission will be printed on 8.5 by 11 inches in black and white. Make sure your images look good in black and white!

Theme: "Hope and Despair" Be Abstract......whatever you want, nothing is not good enough

Specs: All work should include a title and the name of the artist, if he or she wishes recognition.

Digitally: Any work may be emailed to: coa@communityofartists.net , or to heatherc@communityofartists.net

Visual- mode must be CMYK
Photoshop submission 300 DPI
High quality JPEG with 300 DPI
Image size must be 8.5 by 11 inches or less
Remember it will be printed in Black and White
(If you don't know about making it 300 DPI go into photoshop, click on image, image size, uncheck "resample" image, change the DPI/Resolution to 300 DPI, check resample, and then change the size to 8.5 by 11 inches or less, make sure constrain proportions is checked during this process....)
If you don't have photoshop, just send me your files and I'll edit them, but it would take a lot of work off my back, if you helped me in this way.
Written-
You can send it to me in the text of an email, or attach a word document. Please save your document as a .doc, year 2000, not .dox, because I don't have the newest version of Microsoft word and I won't be able to view your work—Formatting is not important as it will be reformatted during the editing process
Please NO excessive vulgarity. 'Tis unnecessary

If you are an actor, dancer, or musician and wish to submit something to us, please submit picture(s) of yourself using your talent (See digital specifications, include the name of your photographer), and a written statement about how the dance, song, or play illustrates passionate purpose. If you have song lyrics, or a script you would like to submit, please include it.
