Expressing yourself through theater and dance is one of my joys. In my opionion, acting is expressing emotion, dance is expressing passion; each which can glorify God. For example, through acting, you can re-inacte various Bible stories with morals to be learned at the end. In dance, you can dance to a Christian song with motions that indicate you're praising God.
The gifts God give us should be used to glorify Him and to bless others.

Yeah, it's really amazing, and it's a lot of fun acting out Bible stories....Reminds me of Mexico and all the stories my team acted out at VBS. There's also other ways to glorify God through acting, such as dramas that make you think, or question beliefs, etc.

Dancing is something I have yet to master, and will never master....but I love admiring people who can dance!

and I love admiring their dances!

Once I did a skit with some of my friends in a Bible Study. It was about reading your Bible, it was very funny, yet at the end it was sad. But it got you thinking about life and what you're going to do with it. I don't really remember the skit that well, just that it was really good...lol That's what I like about drama. Usually the ending of a play etc. should let your imagination do the rest and hopefully send someone seek for the truth.

That sounds like a really good skit. My mom has told me about several of the plays that you've been in. Hopefully, I'll actually be able to make the date of your next play!

I've rather neglected my acting skills....when I was in Junior High, my friends and I decided to start our own theatre company. Every summer we did a play...then, after two plays and several improv acts we went our separate ways. Ever since then, I haven't really done any acting, it was great exposure though!
